Death of Mrs Henretta Heifner at 96 in Mt Vernon
Mrs Henrietta Heifner of 917 equth 12th street died at 5 45 this morning after a lingering illness. She was 96 years 11 months and four days old. Funeral services set for Thursday at 2 00 pm in Pulley Funeral Chapel with Rev Lester Pifer officiating and Oakwood cemetery burial. She will lie in state at Pulley Funeral Home after 6 00 pm Wednesday. Born June 15 1862 in Knoxville Tennessee, daughter of Henry and Mrs Richardson. On Oct 23 1887 she married A J Heifner in McLeansboro. he preceded her in death. She was the oldest member of Central Church of Christ for 65 years. Surviving: a son Marion Heifner of Mt Vernon and a sister Rosa Long of Carmi Illinois. Her parents, husband, two brothers and six sisters preceded her in death.
