Deaths and Funerals Cleo W Dycus Dies At 58
Cleo Wilson Dycus of 1215 South 23rd Street died at 2 50 am at Good Samaritan Hospital after a ten day stay. He was 58 years, seven months and eight days old and a former Starr Brothers employee. Funeral services are set for Monday at 2 pm at Myers Chapel with Rev. Otho Williams officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 10 am Sunday at Myers Chapel. He was born October 11, 1897 in Jefferson County, son of Squire W and Hattie Gaddis Dycus, lifelong resident. He married Rowena Fairchild, who died March 27, 1935. Surviving are one son Virgil of Mt Vernon. five daughters Norma Jones, Cecil Reed of Mt Vernon, Cleona Sue at home, Evelyn Van Brocklin of Rockford NL, Imogene Castleberry of Westmont NL. a sister Belle Fairchild of Mt Vernon. nine grandchildren.
