Mrs Julia Fults aged 87 died at 12 30 pm Monday at the home of her daughter Mrs Gladys Nagel in Evansville Illinois where she lived. Funeral services will be at 2 00 pm Thursday at Cashner Funeral Home Renault burial in Steutot cemetery. The body lies in state at Cashner Funeral Home after 6 pm today. Survived by five sons William Fults East St Louis Harvey Fults Center Ville Jacob Fults Valmeyer Claude and Myron Fults Renault and two daughters Mrs Evelyn Chambers RFD 4 Mrs Vernon Nagel Evansville. Preceded in death by husband Duncan S Fults and son Mark L Fults.

L. E. Finn Dies at 81 in Iuka Rites Thursday

Lawrence E. Finn of Iuka a retired merchant and former Haynes township supervisor died Monday at his home at 81. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Iuka Methodist Church with Rev. Delbert Goff officiating. burial in Iuka cemetery. Visitation after 2 p.m. Wednesday at L. R. Osborn & Son Funeral Home in Kell. Born Oct 2, 1883 in Marion county to John H. and Mary Finn. He married Bess Russell in 1938. Survivors include his widow, one son Kenneth Finn of Gulfport Mississippi, one brother Harry Finn of Sandoval, one sister Flossie Blankenship of Texico, and one grandson.

Proposed Wabash Park Site Unique Considered

Siemert testified that the Wabash county site hosts a unique mix of species where north meets south and climate drives the pattern. He cited Illinois forests averaging 2,700 board feet per acre and noted another virgin-wood tract exists south of Bloomington but is smaller. Parr, raised locally, said 288 acres on the Bower farm are arable and have yielded corn, wheat, and beans.

Prices paid until 12 30 p m today were 25 cents higher with 20 to 220 lb hogs at 20 75. Sows gained 25 cents to 17 50 for 300 weight down, sows 300 weight and over at 17 25 down. Boars ranged 11 00 to 11 50. After 12 30 p m today prices will be based on next day.

Hogs mainly 21 25 to 21 75 for 200 260 lb, sows 17 00 to 18 75. Cattle includes choice steers 25 25 to 26 30, choice heifers 94 00 to 95 50, cows 14 50 to 16 50, vealers 25 00 to 29 00, calves 16 00 to 21 00. State Teachers College raises minimum pay for faculty

The Teachers College Board approved a revised minimum salary schedule for teachers at the four state universities under its jurisdiction. New monthly minimums are 640 for instructors 800 for assistant professors 1020 for associate professors and 1120 for professors, replacing prior 600 to 900 ranges. The board also authorized plans for a 925000 addition to Eastern Illinois University Union and a 75000 telephone security building, plus apartment units for married students at Western Illinois University.

A morning storm dumped .55 inches of rain with light hail in Mt Vernon, easing a spring drought for farmers. Winds caused some ditches to overflow but no major damage. North Viet Bomb Raids Renewed In Two Provinces

North Viet Nam shelling and ground actions continued as U S and Vietnamese forces clashed. In Binh Tuy Province Viet Cong attacked a village 65 miles east of Saigon, with U S helicopters and regional forces fighting back and claiming 50 Viet Cong killed. In Kon Tum Province Vietnamese marines swept and said they killed 38 Viet Cong. The government also moved forces near the demilitarized zone along the 17th Parallel, while another Viet Cong unit infiltrated a hamlet in Binh Thuan Province.
