Walter W. Ellis, 64, of Route 7 Mt. Vernon, died at Jefferson Memorial Hospital after 19 days as a patient. Funeral services set for Monday at 11 a.m. at Mt Zion Church with burial in Mt Zion Cemetery. Born August 13, 1893 in Jefferson County, he was a lifelong resident and survived by wife Pearl Hicks, a stepson, three brothers, a half sister, and a half brother.
