Funeral services for Eula M. Cooney 81 of McLeansboro will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St Clement Church with Father Joseph Trapp officiating. The Rosary is planned Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Ghojeon Funeral Home and visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. She died Friday at 6:55 a.m. at Hamilton Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in St Clement cemetery. She was born August 9 1894 in McLeansboro the daughter of James and Nellie Hassett. She was married to John J Cooney Sr who preceded her in death. Survivors include one son John J Jack Cooney of McLeansboro one daughter Mary Nipper of McLeansboro two sisters Veronica Voss and Irene Brewster both of McLeansboro and two grandchildren.
