Charged With Theft From Cars
Conley Blankenship Jr. 42 of 813 south 17th street was arrested by city police on theft charges from two parked cars near Hotel Emmerson. A vent break led officers to the scene, locating owner Albert Wittcoff of St. Louis and a car ton of cigarettes missing.
