William L Mannen of 536 Fairfield Road died at Good Samaritan Hospital at 6 am aged 89 years and 20 days. He was the eldest of Jefferson county families, born April 24, 1870 in Waltonville. Survived by Bertha Crum Mannen, three daughters, two sons, fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Funeral Saturday May 16 at Fry Funeral Home Waltonville with burial in Knob Prairie cemetery. The body lies in state after 6 pm Friday.
