Deaths Aaron Garvin 76 former Mt. Vernon resident
Aaron Garvin 76 longtime West Frankfort resident and retired barber died at 2 30 am Wednesday at his West Frankfort home. Funeral services are set for Friday 2 00 pm at Stone Funeral Home West Frankfort with Rev. Francis Hamilton officiating. He was born March 1889 in Hamilton County the son of Chris and Alice Garvin. He married Wenonah Snow in 1912 in Mt. Vernon who precede him in death. He lived with his brother in law and sister in law Mr and Mrs Charles Dow of West Frankfort the last eight years. He was the last surviving child in a family of nine. He is survived by nieces and nephews including Robert Snow Mt. Vernon and Mrs Virginia Snow Heman of Chagrin Falls Ohio.

Olive Barcas of 820 Park Avenue died at 3 15 p m Wednesday at age 55. Funeral planned for 2 00 p m Saturday at Myers Chapel with Rev Everett Lemay. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery. She was born February 1 1910 in Mt Vernon to Frank and Lacey Crenshaw. She married Alex Barcas in 1932 in Wisconsin. he died in 1997. She is survived by a sister Mrs Helen Edmondson and several nieces and nephews.
