Harry J Korhn 80 of McLeansboro died at 4 20 p m Monday at Hamilton Memorial Hospital after an extended illness He was born in Kentucky July 7 1805 son of William and Jessie Reed Korhn He is survived by his wife Lulabelle four sons Harry Robert William Ray Patrick Richard and Thomas Roger all of Independence Kansas six daughters Harriet Meadows McLeansboro Julia Caroline Grabowski Alexandria La Lylabelle Wade Central City Ky Rita Lee Korhn JoAnn Korhn and Peggy Diane Korhn all of Independence Kansas and two grandchildren Funeral services were held today at 2 p m at Johnson Funeral Home McLeansboro with Rev Alta Culpepper officiating Burial was in Braden Valley Cemetery

Wallace R. Hancock, 38, stands trial in Nashville on charges of raping, sexually abusing and murdering his 20 month old daughter Tanya on November 4. He led officers to her body November 7. trial moved from Belleville to Washington County Courthouse on venue change. Hancock was jailed without bond after being taken into custody.
