Isaac Lemuel Quinn 76 a retired Waltonville general merchant died yesterday at Good Samaritan Hospital from a heart ailment. Born March 1 1881 in Blissville township he was son of Samuel and Sarah Quinn. He married Martha Lena Newbury Scheller January 4 1903. A charter member of Modern Woodman Lodge 7740 Waltonville he held a 50 year pin and served Waltonville village clerk for 19 years. Funeral Monday at Fry Funeral Home Warville with Rev. D Vandever officiating burial in Rob Prairie cemetery. He is survived by his wife three sons Glenn of St. Louis Jr. Mt Vernon Ralph of California four daughters Marcella Ujka Lois Minton Hattie May and Mrs Fagan seven grandchildren three great grandchildren and three brothers William Centralia John Scheller Dennis Vernon.

Rites set for Columbus M. Russell Saturday
Funeral services for Columbus M. Russell will be held Saturday at 11 am at the New Salem church west of Dale Illinois. The Rev. Sam McCoy will officiate with burial in Smith cemetery. The body remains at Pulley Funeral Home with calls. Russell died Thursday at 9 45 am at his home 1002 south 22nd street at age 87 years one month and three days. He was born April 6 1870 in Hamilton county, son of Welcome and Hannah Johnson Russell. He married Tennessee Hicks on August 10 1892 who preceded him in death. Surviving are one son Raymond of Mt. Vernon, one daughter Hannah Reed of Mt. Vernon, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren, four brothers N O and J W Russell of McLeansboro, N O Russell of Eldorado, Florence Russell of Elgin, and a sister Emma Holland of Equality.

Born May 1896 in Missouri to Earl and Nan Wiley, she was married to ? Marlow and survived by husband, three sons Logan Mt Vernon Harry Dallas Cera and Leroy Vandalia Ind, a daughter Dorothy Roane, two grandsons, a sister May Wienken Centralia, and 18 grandchildren. A daughter Doris and two grandchildren preceded her in death.

9000 Motorists Get New Plates In Illinois Drive
