Fred W. Garbers 85 of Felberfeld Indiana died early Monday at Shady Rest Nursing Home Chandler Indiana. Funeral services Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at Zion's Evangelical Church Elberfeld with burial at North View Cemetery. Body lies in state at Volkman's Funeral Home Elberfeld this afternoon. Survivors include sons Arvie Elberfeld and Norman Mt. Vernon, brother Edwin Elberfeld, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Herschel Moore of Little Rock Arkansas died Monday morning. He was a former Jefferson county resident and retired assistant director of the State Board of Education. He taught in the Little Rock school system for 45 years and is survived by his wife Lillian and six children. Burial will be in Little Rock.
