Seven Weekend Auto Crashes in Mt Vernon Injure Two
Two persons were injured as seven car accidents occurred in Mt Vernon over the weekend. Wesley Bodine, 8, suffered a non serious bicycle car collision at Fourth and Opdyke at 12 30 p m. Douglas Cox, 58, and Ruth Singer, 45, were among others involved in separate crashes with minor injuries and vehicle damage. Several other crashes on Saturday and Sunday caused varying damage amounts, with one driver charged for driving too fast for conditions and another for following too close.
