Last Sunday at Epworth Church brought 47 in Sunday school and a joyful day. Tomorrow is Mother’s and Daughter’s Day with activities and services scheduled including morning worship at 7:00 pm on the Glory of Motherhood. Glass meeting at 11:30 am. Junior League at 2:30 pm. Epworth League at 6:30 pm. preaching at 7:30 pm. Pastor W. Is Lamp invites all to attend.
The United Brethren Church invites all to a Mother and Daughter Day with a Sunday school gathering, a morning sermon on mothers and daughters, junior meetings, and a Christian Endeavor Society at 7 pm. FERST Christian Church also noted Mother's Day observance with wearing red or white for mothers and services at 9:30 10:45 and 1:30 with The Doctrine of The Christian Church and Endeavor hours 6:30. Orville Hawkins pastor urged church support.
On Sunday May 8 1920 Trinity Episcopal Church presents morning prayer and sermon by Rev John Lloyd at 11 40 a m The sermon topic is The Creative Power of a Great Decision.
