Mrs. George Dulany was notified of the death of her sister Ida Patton 69, at her Wichita home. A former Mt. Six Mt Vernon grade schools will present a citywide vocal festival on Tuesday May 9 at 730 pm in the junior high auditorium. Each school will perform vocal numbers solos ensembles and choruses with a 250 member all city chorus finale. The event marks the first year grade school vocal departments run the festival. Featured are top division winners from the recent southern Illinois grade school vocal contest.
