Thieves took jewelry, appliances and other items valued at about 1600 dollars from a cabin at the rear of a Route 6 residence Thursday night. Russell Bratcher reported the burglary to the county sheriff's office Friday noting a door pry and missing five watches two rings clothing drapery coins cookware silverware and several small appliances. In a separate burglary, someone entered Doris Williams's home in Nason on Wednesday evening and took a .38 caliber pistol.
