Sarah Jane Hayes died at 3 20 p m Saturday at 1024 Tolle Road aged 84 years two months nine days after seven years of poor health Funeral services were held at 4 00 p m today at Pulley Funeral Home with burial at Bell Prairie cemetery following services at Bell Prairie Baptist church in Hamilton county She was born February 21 1871 in Hamilton county daughter of William and Kiziah Taylor On August 23 1897 she married George Hayes in Dahlgren who survives Also surviving are daughter Alma Humphrey of Mt Vernon two grandchildren and one great grandchild A brother and sister and another brother preceded her in death.
