Kenneth E. Crenshaw of 826 George Street died at 11 30 a m Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was 46 years eight months eleven days old. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 30 p m at Myers Chapel with Rev. Allen Stephens and Rev. Bird Green officiating, burial in Oakwood Cemetery. He was born August 9 1912 in Mt Vernon and married Eva Hobbs December 24 1936. He is survived by his wife two sons Ronald and Stephen a daughter Janet two sisters Helen Edmondson Olive Barcas and one granddaughter.

Born March 27, 1878 in Kane County Illinois, he married Bertha Moulton in Geneva in 1924. Survived by wife, two sons Joseph of Elgin and James of Aurora, and four Cox relatives, a brother Frank of Dundee, and eight grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were incomplete.

Driver Killed Near Metropolis in Bridge Crash
A Metropolis man Abraham Bormann 31 died when the car he rode with his son 12 crashed into the side of a one way bridge on North Avenue one mile west of Metropolis. Trooper Bill Reineking said a second car may have been involved as the hit may have been attempt to pass another vehicle. Bormann's son Boyd was treated at Massac Memorial Hospital. He left a widow, a son, two daughters, a brother and four sisters. Two sisters live in Colorado.
