John W. Davis 50 of Fairfield owner of John Davis Truck and Tractor Service died at noon Tuesday at home. Funeral services set for Thursday at 2 p.m. at Dixon and Johnson Funeral Home with Bro David Dean and Fr Wilbert J Iffert officiating. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m. today. Survived by wife Ramona two daughters Linda Davis at home and Donna Pranger Manhattan Kansas mother Ada Davis Fairfield brother Roger Davis Oklahoma City Oklahoma, and parents in law D E McKinney Mt Vernon.
Herbert E. Miller 72 of Rochelle died Tuesday March 23 at Rochelle Community Hospital. Born March 17, 1904 in Opdyke he was a retired farmer. Funeral March 26 at Unger Funeral Home Rochelle with burial in Trinity Memory Gardens. Survived by wife Lena Mae Jared Miller a son Duane three grandchildren and sister Emma Grace Sipka of Chicago.
