George Calvin Pierce, 88, of Farrington township, died Saturday at 1:30 PM at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. A retired farmer, he lived his life in Farrington township. Funeral 2:00 PM today at Wells Chapel Church with Rev. Bird Green officiating. burial in nearby cemetery. He was born August 11, 1869. Survived by two sons Charley and Parker, three daughters Maggie Holloway Edna Holloway and Elsie Coil, two sisters, nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Two daughters and two brothers preceded him in death.
