Veva Francis Moore 74 of Mt. Vernon Iowa died at 9:45 am Monday at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born June 5 1897 in Nevada Iowa she married Harry P. Moore October 17 1915 in Ames Iowa. he preceded her in death October 18 1967. Surviving are two sons Kenneth A. Moore and Richard Henry Moore two daughters LaVaughn Law and Phyllis McCarthy one sister Bertha Burke ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral at Hughey Pulley Funeral Home Wednesday 2 pm with Rev A B Clodfelder and Rev Edward Sadler. Burial Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 pm Tuesday.

James Adams and Lee Myers were named co drive chairmen for Jefferson County United Fund for 1972. Adams, of Homestead Place and Mt.
