Roy Clemins 66 a former Jefferson county resident died at 7 40 am in Deaconess Hospital Marshalltown after a lingering illness. He was the son of W H Clemins of Mt Vernon and brother to Hallie Britton J O Clemins Gale Charles Ruth Sheen and Jennie Linder. Survived by his wife Mabel Marlow and two daughters Muriel Wilhelmi and Mildred Moen. Funeral services will be held Saturday in Marshalltown.

He leaves wife Jane, daughter Mrs. John Frey of Glen Ellyn Illinois, son Jack B. Mitchell with the U S Navy in Berkeley California, and five grandchildren. A sister, Miss Chesta Mitchell, lives in Ashland Kentucky. Funeral plans not yet set.
