Vernon June 25 1923 and survived by wife son daughters brothers sisters seven grandchildren. Roxie Earls 79 of Pollock Pines Cal. a former Mt. Vernon Decatur resident died Saturday in Pollock Pines. Graveside services are set for Friday at Graceland cemetery Decatur with visitation at Dawson-Wikoff Funeral Home.

Visitation at Ghol son Chapel Dahlgren after 5 pm Wednesday. Body at church 1 pm Thursday. Survived by seven sons Earl Arthur Russel Ray Donald Harold Alfred, six daughters Alice Boyd Florence Ester Lena Rainwater Ruby Shaw Kathleen Lowry Wanda Lea Sparks, one brother Gus Haile, one sister Elizabeth Fathers, 44 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren. Deputies notified Woodlawn Fire Department at 7:45 p.m. and the minor blaze was responded to. Willmore described REACT as volunteers providing emergency and highway safety communications.

Effingham Illinois AP fund for slain state Trooper Layton Davis has collected 2283 dollars including 700 from truckers and CB radio operators.
