Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Jones, 99, of Sesser, died at 11 00 a m Saturday in Miners Hospital at Christopher. She was born April 13 1867 in Franklin county, daughter of Matthew and Ruth Cockrum. She was married to William R. Jones, who preceded her in death on March 28 1941. Survivors include a son Matthew Jones of Christopher, two daughters Pearl Hamilton and Mary Cook, both of Sesser, two sisters Della Stevison of Sesser and Missie Elkins of Eldorado, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
