Burial prep at Brayfield Funeral Homes, Lesser, after 5 p.m. Saturday. Survived by two sons, six daughters, 18 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and a brother. Born October 12, 1880 in Franklin County to William and Almina Sample. Married to Martha Quillman, who died in 1937.

Survived by wife Inda Cockrum, mother Flora Gajewski, one daughter Frances Scroggins, three grandsons, one granddaughter, two great grandchildren, one sister Iva Gulley Vernon. Preceded by father, a daughter, and a sister.

Kenneth Dove 64 of Elgin formerly of Wayne City died early today at Elgin Memorial Hospital. He owned a Keenes feed store, was WWII veteran, and member of VFW Watch City Post 1307 American Legion Post 57 and Moose Lodge 799. Graveside service 10 a.m. Saturday at Salem Cemetery. He is survived by mother Clara Dove son Robert Dove step son Larry Shaw daughter Louise Storment four grandchildren and two brothers Kermit and Keith Dove.

Five Year Old Girl Struck By Car in City Intersection
