Eddie C. Coleman of 14 South 13th Street died Saturday afternoon at his granddaughter's home in Champaign at age 78 years four months two days. Funeral services are set for Tuesday at Myers Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dale Harmon officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Gardens. The body lies in state at Myers Chapel after 3:00 p.m. today. He was born November 16, 1882 in Mr. Vernon, son of Chan and Annie Coleman. He married Grace Jones on March 13, 1905 in this city. she survives, along with a daughter Mrs. John F. Beck and a son Edward Coleman, Boulder, Colorado, plus three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
