Four cars were damaged in two non injury accidents in Mt Vernon on Thursday. Ronald L. Marcum of Woodlawn and Andy R. Morgan of 807 South 22nd Street collided at Seventh and Jordan, with each car costing about $100 in damage. Morgan faced a faulty brakes charge. In a second alley collision west of Tenth Street and north of Perkins Avenue, cars owned by Robert E. Hughey of 207 Forest and Orval J. Vaughn of Belle Rive were involved. Hughey’s car, parked, was damaged about $50 when a door opened, while Vaughn’s car sustained about $100 damage.
