Dr Ralph W Frost of Rockaway Beach Missouri died Tuesday March 9 in a Sebring Florida hospital. He practiced dentistry in Kansas City until retirement and taught at the Kansas City School of Dentistry during World War I. He was a World War I Army veteran and member of multiple dental associations. He moved to Rockaway Beach in 1956 and leaves wife Ethel. Private services were held in Mt Vernon.

One Injured Two Ticketed In Traffic Accidents Here

Two days of local accidents left one injured and two ticketed. The Tuesday 4 p.m. crash on Old Route 15 involved Theodore J. Craig, 17, rear ending Helen A. Walker, 58, who was treated and released at Good Samaritan Hospital. her car suffered major damage. Everett Mygatt, 54, was charged with careless driving after his pickup struck a parked car on Harrison Street.

Car Stolen From Brehm-Hanna Lot Tuesday Night

Six offenses were reported to local authorities over two days. Thieves stole a blue 1973 Monte Carlo two door from the Brehm-Hanna Chevrolet lot while locked with no keys inside. A field jacket and items were lifted from a state police car at the Ramada Inn before 7 p.m. All items were later found nearby. No arrests were reported. A 10 horsepower outboard motor valued at 500 dollars and a tank were stolen from Paul Thomas’s front yard. A glass louvre and entry were removed to burglarize Donna Poston’s mobile home, yielding medicine bottles and a necklace. Chester Taylor reported fending off two window-crawling thieves at his home. Robert Bruce reported a .22 pistol and holster stolen in the past 30 days.

Gov Walker faces Aug 2 deadline to file nominating petitions if he pursues third party status after easy nomination win over Thompson.
