She was born in Hamilton County daughter of the late Mr and Mrs J W Estes and was married to C J Biggerstaff. Survived by a brother J W Estes of McLeansboro. Funeral services 1:30 pm at Methodist church burial Thursday in Crouch Cemetery Belle Prairie. Gholson Funeral Home McLeansboro in charge. Body lay in state at Marks Funeral Home Wood River.

Lester Fenton returned from Lake Worth Florida where he attended the funeral of his brother in law Roscoe G Walker. Two prior injury lawsuits compromised and settled out of court were dismissed by Judge Caswell J. Crebs yesterday. The Houser vs Graham Powell Drilling Co. case sought 25000 for injuries from an oil well incident near Woodlawn on July 17, 1955. The Ramsey vs Irwin case sought 45000 for injuries from a January 22, 1954 collision on U S Route 469 between Opdyke and Belle Rive. Crebs will hold another nonjury session in Mt. Vernon on April 8.
