Armed Woman Robs Cape Girardeau Loan Firm

Cape Girardeau, Mo. AP Katherine E. Hazelton, 35, was arrested in Benton by Sheriff Bob Davis in connection with a robbery at the Tower Loan Co. of Cape Girardeau about two hours earlier. She claimed Georgia residency and matched the description of the armed female who took about $200 and fled in an old car. A gun was found in her automobile and she was jailed in Benton.

National Stockyards reports hogs trading from 11.25 to 17.25 with Nos 1-2 weights 190-230 lb and various lots around 260 head at 17.25. No 1-3 180-240 lb mainly 16.50-16.85, 240-270 lb 16.00-16.50, many barrow and gilt classes listed. Cattle and calves show wide ranges with utility cows 16.00-17.50, good and choice dealers 32.00-37.00, high choice and prime to 33.00, slaughter calves 21.00-26.00.
