Robert M. Shirley of Memphis Tennessee, a former Vernon resident, died at 4:00 a.m. Sunday in Memphis. Funeral services set for 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Holman Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau Missouri with burial there. Survivors include wife Eva and two sons Robert and Jimmy Shirley, both of Memphis. He formerly worked 20 years for Dixie Mills Co and owned Park Inn Restaurant.
