Archie Gaskill died at 11 10 AM at 2604 Main Street Mt Vernon aged 55 years 11 months He was a trucker and former employee of Mt Vernon Car Mfg Co Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 2 PM at Myers Chapel with burial in West Salem Cemetery He was born July 20 1899 in Wayne County to Horace and Mary Ann Marshall Gaskill He married Paulin Hawkins in 1940 in Cape Girardeau MO He is survived by his wife two stepsons Ancil Burwell East St Louis and Charles Burwell Benton two sisters Mrs Roy Stevens Wayne City and Mrs Opal Taylor Mt Vernon one brother Bill Mt Vernon and four grandchildren.
