John W. Sutton aged 81 died at Dixon State Hospital at 3 50 a m Thursday. Funeral services were held at Dixon at 3 30 p m yesterday. He was born January 13 1874 in White County, son of John Taylor Sutton and Lavina Angelene Huff. Survived by son Hazel of Mt Vernon, daughter Mildred Barringer of Los Angeles, sisters Mary Myers and Dolly Cooper, and brothers William and Norman. One son Marvin and other siblings preceded him in death.

Funeral Sunday at 2:00 pm in Pulley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Andrew Cavker officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens. Calling after 10 am Saturday. Survived by wife Emma, three sons John Donald Fred, daughter Rinnie, stepson J D Edwards, seven grandchildren, one sister preceded him in death. Born August 17 1866 in Fairfield Illinois.
