Louis E. Caraker Jr., 60, of Vernon, brother of the Rev. Andrew Caraker, died Tuesday at Veterans Hospital in Syracuse, New York. A World War I veteran and World War II Asiatic theater veteran, he will lie in state at Fox and Weeks Funeral Parlor in Savannah, with services Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Burial follows in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Survived by two sons, Andrew J. of Detroit and Emmett of Richmond, Va. He had planned to attend services tomorrow.
