Walter Price Dies at Age 64 in Paris
Walter Price race horse trainer died at 11 last night in Paris Illinois aged 61 years eight months and 22 days. Funeral Monday 2:00 pm at Myers Chapel Rev Bird Green officiating burial in Bethel Memorial cemetery. He was born November 8, 1883 in Ashley Arkansas, married Anna R. Cockrum March 17, 1907. He is survived by his wife, one son Donald L. Price of Pasadena, a step-son Angus A. Cockrum of Mt. Vernon, a brother Taylor Price of Salina Kansas, and one grandson.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alpha A. Johnson 81 who died yesterday at her daughter’s home will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell church north of Wayne City with Rev. Jesse Miller officiating and burial in Hopewell cemetery. The body will lie in state at the family home north of Wayne City where friends may call. She resided north of Wayne City for years and left 78 descendants. survived by six sons four daughters a sister 27 grandchildren 35 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Her husband J E Johnson died in June 1946. Police Court fines were $13.40 each for Roy L. Sneed Eugene Flannigan Elvis Melchiser and Jennings S Hillman on drunk charges.

BEARDSTOWN, NL July 31 Carl Beauchamp 50 of Mere dosia died yesterday from injuries suffered in a dynamite truck explosion that killed two others and critically injured two more on Thursday. Byron Beauchamp 21, son of Carl, was among the critically injured. Carl's brother Virgil was also among the injured.
