In DeLand Florida Donald J Wedler signed a statement admitting he killed Marilyn Sheppard. Cleveland attorney Samuel Corrigan said Wedler offered the confession in the presence of sheriffs deputies. Ohio officials declined to confirm details.

Bonds are planned to fund new firefighting gear and a fire station at Ashley. Election creating the district was held July 18. trustees will be appointed.

At about 10 o clock last night in the 900 block of Main street two cars were badly damaged in an accident. Donald E. Anthony, 33, of 61 North 12th, driving intoxicated, struck a parked car owned by Crete Dixon, RFD 3, and was fined 100 dollars plus costs by Police Magistrate J R. Thomas. Dixon’s car damage was estimated over 150 dollars and Anthony’s over 100.
