Youth Admits Break In At Local Tavern
David Michael Cole a 15 year old of 1012 south 26th street admitted to Mt. Vernon police that he was involved in a burglary at the Corner Tavern at 19th and Perkins before daylight Saturday. He and two others were jailed after returning from Salem where they abandoned a car taken from Regen cy Motors. State's Attorney filed petitions for revocation of probation for Cole and another youth. He said he and a companion stole 64 dollars in cash, whiskey and cashews and he gave his share for a used car. Cole was held in the county jail.
