James T. Eubanks 20 and Gary L. Phil lips 40, FS Services players, collided while chasing a fly ball at City Park on Sunday. Man Charged With Unlawful Use of Weapons

Retail Theft Burglary Charges Against Mt Vernon Man
A 48 year old Mt. Vernon man Alan G. Bellows of 1285 Perkins Ave was arrested by city police on Saturday and faces burglary and retail theft charges. He allegedly stole two pieces of meat from the Kroger Store and burglarized the same store on June 5. Bellows is held in county jail under bonds totaling 6,000 dollars.
