Mrs Cora Chase Cox, a former Wayne county resident, died at 8:50 this morning at her daughter’s home on Staten Island New York. Brief services will be held there tomorrow at eight o'clock. The body will be sent to Huntington West Virginia for funeral services Tuesday afternoon. She was 89 and widow of Albert Cox who died in 1934. She was a sister of Frank Chase of Four Mile Township Wayne County.

Eva Rachel Ette died at 2 30 p m Thursday at her home 608 Main street aged 88 years 11 months 26 days. Funeral at Myers Chapel Saturday at 2 00 p m with Rev Dale Harmon officiating. Burial in Oakwood cemetery. Body to remain at Myers Chapel for visitation. Survived by husband C K Ette and sister Mrs Ruth Menzer. She was born July 25 1866 in Shiloh township and was a longtime county resident member of First Methodist Church and honorary member of Mt Vernon Federated Women’s Club.
