Charles J Goodin of McCauley Road died Sunday morning at 78. Funeral services are set for 2 30 p.m. Thursday at Myers Barll Chapel with Howard Kraps officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens. Masonic services precede burial. He was a retired fireman for the Kings Central Railroad and a member of the Central Church of Christ. Donations to Kidney and Cancer Foundation requested in lieu of flowers.

Preceded in death by parents a sister two brothers two stepsons and one stepdaughter.

A 23 year old former Mr. Vernon man was sentenced to 18 to 54 months in prison after conviction on unlawful possession of a controlled substance in circuit court.
