Death of Madison man Gilbert Reed former Goodyear manager
Gilbert Dutch Reed of Madison Missouri died at 2:00 p.m. Monday in Woodland Hospital Moberly after a brief illness. He formerly managed the Mt Vernon Goodyear Store and his wife Ruth Reed served as secretary to William Porter at Mid-State Chemical Company. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Christian church in Madison with burial there. The body remains in state at Thompson Macklar Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife Ruth Reed.

A 14-year-old boy, Robert Rossetter of Saint Charles Illinois, disappeared during a mountaineering expedition from Ashcrofter Boys Camp.
