Joseph M. Tyler, 59, died at 10 45 p m Sunday at Jefferson Memorial hospital. A Wayne County resident, he was born December 28 1897 in Wayne County to Amos W Tyler and Amanda Milliner Tyler. A WWII veteran, he belonged to the Wayne City American Legion. Survived by brother Russell Tyler of Tulsa Oklahoma and sisters Eva Garrison of St Louis and Mrs Golda Matceder of Riveredge ND. Funeral services were at Richardson Chapel Wayne City at 2 p m today with Rev Bill Gammon, burial in Thomason Cemetery.
