Funeral services are set for Julia Kay Flessner, six, at St. John's Lutheran church in Cullom with Rev. E L Serr presiding. Burial follows at West Lawn cemetery. The child died Saturday evening at home after an extended illness. Born March 27, 1956 in Pontiac, she was the daughter of Ronald and Carol Flessioner. Survived by parents, a brother William John and a sister Susan at home, grandparents H H Rockenbach of Mt Vernon and W W Flescher of Gallon, and others.

W A Gus Wooldridge of 110 Castleton Avenue died at 2 30 p m Saturday at Jefferson Memorial Hospital after eight days as a patient He was 84 years one month and 25 days old A carpenter at Mt Vernon car shops he lived in Mt Vernon 40 years Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 30 p m at Myers Chapel with the Rev Vernon Dodson officiating and burial in the O F cemetery at McLeansboro He was born May 19 1878 at McLeansboro the son of J B and Eliza Barron Wooldridge He was married in 195 to Sarah Hawthorne who preceded him in death in 1919 He is survived by one son Earl Wooldridge of Bunker Hill II two daughters Mrs Ruth Dodson of Mt Vernon and Mrs Gladys Hutchison of Benton one brother Wake Wooldridge of Mt Vernon one sister Mrs Lizzie Mayberry of Norris City eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren He was preceded in death by his wife and one daughter Bertha.
