Women’s Home Was a Menagerie
A restaurant worker and her mother were committed to hospitals after authorities found them living with 17 cats, 11 dogs, and several snakes in a three room house at Gays south of Sullivan. Miss Lucille Wright, 50, was ordered to Jacksonville State Hospital. her 80-year-old mother Dora Wright was taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.
