She was a Mt Vernon business family member found dead yesterday. She was T1 years nine months and 26 days old and born September 16 184 in Mt Vernon to Rufus J and Mary Jane England Bond. Her family ran Porter Bond Drug Co established 1868 the oldest Illinois drug store in the same family. She helped run the business and later the Bond building enterprise at Tenth and Broadway. She married Joseph N Marquis on October 14 1917, who died September 14 1953. She was survived by Beatrice Bond of Decatur and Beatrice's daughters Mary Jane and Julia Ann of Decatur.
