Mother of Mt V Residents Dies
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Alice Williams 86 of Olney a former Mr. Vernon resident were held Monday in Olney with burial in Otterbein cemetery. She died in Olney Saturday after living here 18 years ago with her daughter Mrs. M L Bledsoe of 701 Casey Avenue. She is survived by four daughters and two sons including Mrs. M J Bledsoe and Mrs. Ira Childers 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Two sons R C and William J Webber preceded her in death.

Settle Strike at Fairfield Plant
Fairfield I A July 14 A two day strike of 533 CIO United Automobile Workers at the Chel ford Master Manufacturing Companys three plants here was settled today. Benjamin Frankel president of the corporation announced that the workers were granted a union shop and a ten cent hourly increase. The union originally bought a union shop and a 17% cent wage boost. The plants employ about 600 in making automobile replacement parts. They will re open to morrow said Frankel.

Funeral services for Charles Severns aged 67 who died yesterday at his home will be held Friday at 1 00 p m at Myers Chapel with Revs Tom Dulaney and J G Parsons officiating.
