Fred Tatum 69, a Hamilton County farmer, died at 6 15 p m Thursday at Pierce Hospital Eldorado after a two year heart illness. Born November 24 1887 to William and Laurentine Tatum he married Nettle Reed in 1910 in McLeansboro. A Mason and New Salem Baptist Church member, he will be buried in Ten Miles Cemetery after funeral Sunday at 2 p m at New Salem Church west of Dale. He is survived by his wife a daughter Mabel Reed of Chicago and a grandchild. Body in state at he Gholson Funeral Home after 2 p m today.
