Holloway collided at 2:51 p.m., Igo’s car then backing into Draper’s car and into Mt. Vernon Auto Parts. A driverless car was involved, causing property damage. Igo was charged with failure to yield right of way. Early morning collisions at 7:02 a.m. damaged McQuaide and Howell. Minutes later Randall and Gregory collided. Michael Battaglia told police he last saw his wife alive at noon Monday as he bicycled to class and met her driving their 1972 two door Chevrolet Nova near campus. Authorities speculated gunmen forced their way into the car later. the bank holdup in Elkville occurred about 1 p.m. Three hours after the holdup, the nude body was found in the trunk at the landfill. Mrs Battaglia, an A student, was to begin a master’s program in rehabilitation of handicapped people. Her husband was pursuing a master’s degree in engineering.
