Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel with Rev Bird Green officiating, burial in West Salem Cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel after 11 a.m. Friday. He is survived by a sister Mrs Lloyd Duffel of Metropolitan, Ti.

Woman Killed as Auto Rams Parked Truck Near Edwardsville
The mother of three, Jean S. Thompson, 38, of El Paso Texas, died when her car rear-ended a parked truck on U S Highway 40 near Highland Illinois. Her husband, David T. Thompson, 39, was seriously injured, and the three children survived with shock. The Thompson car struck a truck driven by William F. Fernwald of Robinson Illinois about 20 miles west of Edwardsville.

Berry Fills $25 000 Bond in Zin Murder Case
Raymond W Berry 45 year old colored resident charged with murder posted a 25000 bond and was released from the county jail. Berry is accused of fatally riding Gordon Richards, another colored man, at a local tavern last May. He had been held since May 15 after being indicted by a grand jury.

Man Arrested After Accident
