Funeral services set for 2:00 p.m. Monday at Hogan Funeral Home Ashley with burial in Ashley Cemetery. He lies in state after 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Robbins born March 14, 1906 in Ashley to Walter and Cynthia Robbins. Survived by wife Ethel McKenzie, mother Cynthia Robbins of Memphis, two sons Charles and John Robbins at Fort Leonard Wood, two daughters Melba Dean Nowicki Radom and Joann Norton San Diego, brother Riley Robbins Vermillion, Ohio, sister Florence Majors Memphis, two grandchildren. Preceded in death by father and one sister.
