Army officials shouted in consternation as Dale McCullum landed his private plane in the middle of an ammunition storage area at the Savanna ordnance depot. The craft was towed to a highway, then flown again. McCullum, from St. Peter Minnesota, said radio out and bad weather led to the risky landing. The body remains at Myers Chapel with visitation after 10 a m Saturday. She was born December 24 1876 in Jefferson County, daughter of William and Mary Isabelle Dare. Survived by brother John W. Dare of Mt Vernon and sisters Mrs. Raymond Knox Woodlawn and Mrs. Vonne Legg Mt. Vernon. Preceded in death by parents a brother and two sisters.

Coroner's jury ruled Grady G Yandell 27 of Manteo died by his own strangulation at the Empire Hotel in Springfield. He registered Tuesday and was found in his room with a nylon shower curtain. A WWII veteran and VFW member, he was discharged three weeks ago after ten years service. Services set for Sunday at Myers Chapel. He is survived by his parents Harley and Pearl Yandell and a brother Hollis of Phoenix.

Sister Daisy E.
